Hey there! I am a current Master's student in the Jackson School of Geosciences at the University of Texas at Austin. (Hook 'em!)
In my research I am investigating the morphology and surface features of hydraulic fractures in core, outcrop, and analog models, with implications for hydraulic fracture growth. My other academic interests include fracture spatial arrangement and the effects of diagenesis and mechanical stratigraphy on brittle structures. My non-academic interests include bouldering, fermentation, beekeeping, and interior design to name a few. I have much experience in geologic field and lab work, core description, characterization of structural geology and mechanical stratigraphy, project planning and presentation, and GPS mapping for structural and hydrological applications. I enjoy working with my hands and being able to apply my observations to complex problems. The field is my happy place.
